Presentation Letters of Credence to Lithuania

On 19 November 2025, Ambassador Lambert Dushimimana formally presented his letters of credence to President Gitanas Nausėda, officially assuming his role as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Rwanda to Lithuania.

After the credential ceremony, President Nausėda and Ambassador Dushimimana held discussions centered on enhancing both bilateral and multilateral ties, with particular attention to trade and investment.

During his visit to Vilnius, Ambassador Dushimimana met with the Director of State Protocol, Ms. Jūratė Lošienė, to whom he presented copies of his credentials. He was also received by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Vidmantas Verbickas. In addition, the Ambassador held an engaging meeting with Rwandan students residing in Lithuania.
