Africa Day 2023

On the 23rd of June 2023,.Ambassador Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe and fellow African Ambassadors accredited to Netherlands welcomed guests at the Africa Day celebration. All guests were invited to discover the diversity of African nations, to taste African gastronomy  and to enjoy several cultural performances at Kasteel Wittenburg in Wassenaar.

The Master of Ceremony, Mr. Jean-Hugues Mukama from our own Embassy, warmly welcomed all guests and H.E. Mrs. Maria Encoge, Ambassador of Republic of Angola to the Netherlands & second in line to the deanship, held the speech on behalf of the African Ambassadors.

The guest of Honor, H.E. Mr. Paul Huijts, Secretary-General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered the keynote address.

The spectacular entertainment program was provided by music and dance groups from Morocco, Rwanda, Tanzania and Angola.
